Managing Menopause Symptoms 6-week Therapy Group
Menopause can bring a mix of physical, emotional and mental changes. This therapy group offers a supportive, understanding space to explore psychological ways of managing symptoms and improving wellbeing through CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).
I’m Ellen, an accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with many years’ experience supporting women’s mental health. Following my own experience of surgical menopause after cancer treatment, I have been trained by the British Menopause Society in delivering the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy 6-week group for the management of hot flushes and night sweats in October 2025.
This 6-week online group course uses evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to support women in managing menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, anxiety and sleep disturbance.
The aim of the group is to improve your overall wellbeing in peri-menopause and menopause.
The course explores the links between physical symptoms, thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and offers practical tools including relaxation, paced breathing, stress management, identifying triggers and setting personal goals.
The course provides a safe and supportive space to share experiences and learn from others.
Topics include:
Reviewing individual experiences of menopause
Stress management
Managing worry
Improving confidence
Managing sleep
Improving mood
Relaxation skills
Managing hot flushes & night sweats
Maintenance plans
The 6 week group is delivered through weekly 1.5 hour group sessions.
This course is currently running online via Zoom or alternatively in person in Hove, East Sussex.
The course can be delivered on a 1-2-1 basis if preferred, either in-person or on Zoom. Please enquire for costs.
All women are welcome, wherever they are in their journey. It is both suitable for women who are using HRT, or women who are unable/ choose not to.

Fees
The 6-week course costs £300, which includes all materials.
